Applications for two Ph.D. Scholarships in English and American Studies (1) Literature and Culture and (2) Translation are open between 14 September 2020 and 14 October 2020.
These scholarships, renewable up to four years, will be financed by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia – FCT, I.P., under the Collaboration Protocol for the Financing of the Multiannual Plan for Research Grants for Doctoral Students, celebrated between the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia and the University of Lisbon Centre for English Studies.
The Ph.D. Research Scholarships are intended for candidates of any nationality with a good knowledge of Portuguese language, already enrolled, or complying with the necessary requirements to enroll in the English and American Studies Ph.D. programme at the School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon. Candidates must also have a BA and an MA in the same area of study, or in other related areas.
