Number of researchers: 25 - Integrated members (with PhD): 10 / PhD students: 10 / Other: 5
The goal of this Research Group is to develop research focused on English Literature, from the medieval to the digital age, and on literary theory, criticism and history. Entitled “English Literature in the World: From the Manuscript to the Digital”, the project of the next three years entails interdisciplinary, intercultural, intermedial, and interarts studies inserted within the scope of digital humanities.
Research Group 1 aims to use the research results, which it has developed and will continue to develop, through initiatives of scientific nature in cooperation with schools, as well as to promote lifelong learning. Furthermore, the RG intends to collaborate with cultural institutions and (inter)national community projects by means of activities to encourage social inclusion in general, and of young people in particular.
