WILL Lab is a pioneer project in Portugal, inspired in the models of the US universities writing centers, in particular of Stony Brook University (New York), with whom we keep an informal partnership. We aim to contribute to the development of competences of academic writing in English, paramount in the contemporary work context, where multiculturalism is becoming more and more relevant. Our focus is to improve the critical capabilities of the writers that come to us, in order for them to attain autonomy as thinkers and citizens.
We invite the students and the personnel of the UL to make an individual appointment with our tutors (FLUL’s students of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Cycles), whichever is the phase and/or the content of their work. We support your writing from the moment of generating ideas and making an outline, throughout the several drafts till the final version.
The tutoring sessions are free of charge and scheduled by email.
This semester, besides proposing several workshops that will be announced soon, we offer an Academic English Course, taking place between April 6 and June 1, Friday, from 9 am to 12pm.
Tuition: 200€ general public / 150€ students and researchers of CEAUL and CET.
