This open seminar will address the challenges and research methods involved in the MIT Global Shakespeare Project (https://shakespeareproject.mit.edu/). Since 1992, this project has been creating, developing, and organizing digital environments for teaching and research with a view to answering the urgent need to access global perspectives around Shakespeare. As co-leader of the MIT Global Shakespeares Curriculum Initiative, Professor Diana E. Henderson will share with students and the wider academic community her experiences working with this project at MIT.
