Prof. Laura Bulger has published extensively on Canadian Studies, Post-colonial Studies and Portuguese Literature. A researcher at the Centre for Letters at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, she was also a Senior Tutor at the University of Toronto, and a Lecturer at York University (Glendon College), Canada.
