Objectives:
The acquisition of advanced digital infrastructures, including AI-assisted research software, audiovisual equipment, and high-performance computing systems, is essential to the modernization and digital transformation of ULICES. These resources will strengthen the Unit’s capacity for interdisciplinary research in Digital Humanities, literary and cultural studies, media literacy, and intercultural communication, while supporting the creation of open-access digital resources, annotated databases, and innovative research methodologies. The audiovisual equipment and dedicated workstation are indispensable for video, sound, and image processing, enabling the production of scientific dissemination materials, interviews, podcasts, the recording of academic events, and other audiovisual productions. Furthermore, these infrastructures will enhance postgraduate training, collaborative research, and knowledge transfer, reinforcing scientific excellence, innovation, and the efficient use of research resources within CEAUL’s strategic objectives.
